Mordialloc Pier is located just south of our home in Parkdale. Mordialloc is the next suburb south of us, and often times we head south on a walk and end up at the pier. The pier is routinely used by old men fishing (who rarely seem to catch much), couples relaxing, and kids swimming. It is a bit cold for swimming now. The pier reminds me of the piers on Clearwater Beach and the nearby Indian Rocks Beach near where Martha and Mick live. It's nice they're nearby so you can walk there, relax and just take in the atmosphere. Beth looks very comfortable--sort of like Hucleberry Finn. I like the boats along the channel. I think people who fish on the pier are similar to people who are in fishing boats not far from the cottage very early every morning. Although they'd probably like to catch something, they probably just enjoy the relaxation. See you soon. The pictures are very nice.
