Thanks for posting them and explaining about your time on the peninsula. I know you're in the middle of winter (equivalent to mid-January here), but it doesn't look all that cold--just comfortably cold and even more so with the fire. And, yes, it's great that you're able to get away from the city for a while. When we're back in Omaha (we're at the cottage again), I'll look on the map and in my Australia book to learn more about Flinders and the peninsula. Lovely photos. Marc told us he thought the fort was from around WWI time and to look out for Russians. That's all I know. Aussies were probably a bit over paranoid at the time.
