***MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!*** Josh and Beth! :-) 10:15 a.m. there, it looks like. You must be comfy in your summer equivalent of morning flannels. Nice! Say hi to everyone there for us. And enjoy! Jon's due sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. WE'LL MISS YOU! But we're thrilled you're making memories there! Love! Mum

Is that Beth way in the background?
So when the tide is in the river fills up, and when the tide is out the ocean water runs back to the ocean, right? I'm guessing that's what the tidal river is, but I'm not totally sure. But what happens if the Tide rolls in their bowl game?

Sounds like Omaha weather! I've heard people around here say, "If you don't like the weather, just wait an hour."

It's nice to see this other view of the river. Is there some kind of wall or road on the opposite side? Or is there kind of an island (with trees) in the middle of the river?

Here is another (better?) shot of Tidal River at Wilson's Promontory. This time it is full, and the shot is facing the other way.

Weather here has been WACKY. Yesterday it was 35C (95F) when I left work on the train. All I wanted was to head home and go for a swim. 40 minutes later when I stepped off the train, the temperature had dropped to about 20C (68F). No swimming for me. Today the high is like 18C.
