The announcers keep talking about the heat (100+ C outdoors) and being glad the roof is closed. I'm glad you got to go to yesterday's match. What fun! What an experience. Keep cool! It's meant to be hotter than yesterday so we'll see. The humidity isn't too bad (nothing like NC), but it's not really a dry heat either. It just feels hot. Some of the trains are air conditioned, but we don't have AC at the apartment. The trains were delayed massively this morning. Apparently the trains don't function very well during "extreme heat." It took me over 2 hours to get to work today, and normally it is like 40 minutes. Last night we went to the Australian Open and watched Nadal defeat Simon in the mens quarterfinals. Neither of us had ever been to see tennis live and it was a lot of fun. They had to close the roof of the arena during the day because it was just too hot.
