Basically some person some where has the ability to capture video from their TV, and they seed a show, or sporting event. Then everone else streams the show using SopCast which is a P2P client, much like you would with torrents, but instead of downloading you are streaming live video. You could most definately watch cricket. Not sure if people are seeding AFL. There's lots of channels, but it just depends who is seeding what. I hope to get to some AFL games when the season starts up again. Melbourne is where AFL is the biggest. All the suburbs here have their own teams with big rivalries. The Drupal conference must have been interesting. I'm glad you got to watch the SuperBowl. I watched most of the second half and brought in Hal after the Patriots scored their touchdown with 2.42 minutes left. The game was much more exciting than other games in recent years.
