While searching the job boards in New Zealand, Bethany came across this great looking career. Below is the text straight from the job description:

------------------
The laboratory located at Whareroa provides testing and sampling to a number of Fonterra sites. We have an exciting permanent opportunity in our Sensory Laboratory.

Detail oriented and highly organised; your responsibilities will include the preparation and presentation of samples for sensory evaluation in accordance with all requirements to ensure an accurate assessment of sensory quality. (Cheese eating, smelling and tasting.)
...
If you are reliable, have sound communication skills, enjoy tasting cheese and working as part of a team then this could be an interesting role for you. Full training will be provided.

------------------

If you are intersted, the full posting can be found here:

Great pics from the Tongariro trip! Beautiful scenery. And nice shot at Nerdsville. Tell more about your Hangi dinner. What was in it? Was it good? I never realized there is so much thermal activity in NZ. Looked a bit cold that one shot of you and Beth at Upper Tama Lake. And all those nice thermal baths!!

I posted a bunch about it here: http://circulargenius.com/nz/mitai-maori-village/#comments

There was lamb, chickens, stuffing, mint sauce, rolls, kumara, potatos, and some other things. It was really good.

It was really cold on our trek to the lakes. It took about 3 hours to get to the first lake. On the way it hailed for a bit, but it wasn't too cold. By the time we got to the first lake we were pretty high up and the wind was starting to pick up and it was cold. Then it was a 45 minute hike to the upper lake and the hike seemed straight up. By the time we got to the upper lake the wind was really howling and it was quite cold.

I'd like this job but would have to make sure to take my cholesterol medicine and at least triple the length of my daily walks. This could be a career??!!

I loved all the photos in the Tongariro Trip gallery. The land formations, the steamy/misty lakes, the geysers, the two of you, and the buildings as well. It's amazing how the sulfur (and other chemicals) and heat have destroyed vegetation close to the lakes. And how interesting to see a GREEN pea pod in the midst of the barren ground.

Hey! It sounds like the job for me! :-) Attention to detail, organized, and liking cheese! :-) I'm not so sure, though, about "managing a high volume of work." Hmmm. If that means a lot of multi-tasking and/or a lot of intensity for a lot of hours . . . well . . . give me back my resume. Hehe. It would be fun to have a video of you all laughing when you came across the posting. :-)

Hey again. Have to say, too, that your newest album was worth the wait. You have such an eye, Josh. For beauty, for composition, for the unusual (pea pods--*very* cool!), and more. I'm loving seeing NZ through your lens(es). And I'm having fun chuckling at some of your captions. Especially the "Nerdsville" one. So glad you finally found "your place." ;-) Oh, and the "Josh has a close call" one. Does that pose surprise Dad or me for one second? NOT! Quintessential Josh. ;-)The Hangi dinner reminded me (or maybe you or Dad said it first) of our dinner at LaShish when Jon graduated--that pyre of flaming kabob spears, each with a different kind of meat. Mmmm! Okie, better head to bed. XOXO
