Ulva Island is a bird reserve located in the inlet to Oban. In 1996 all rats were eradicated from the island, and many native species of birds were reintroduced to the island. We caught a 5 minute water taxi to the island, and spent a few hours walking around and listening to birds. Maybe not--maybe Australia. (Or maybe Alaska? I don't think so.) One coaster has written by the bird, "Kea." Thinking of both your blog descriptions and Jon's and the bird pics on both, it brought all new interest to seeing the coasters! :-) Fun!
