We made to to Kangaroo Island! Even though you haven’t heard from me in a while, we are here. There is no internet access (except in the library where I am now). We are WWOOFing for a really nice guy named Dennis.

The photo above is the beach just behind his property. We can walk there in about 5 minutes. It is beautiful here! He lives on a large ~200 hectare property that is mostly bush and scrub. There is a large salt lake in front of the property and this beach over the hills and behind.

We have been doing a bit of weeding, work around the house, and other various things. I can’t get into it much at the moment because the library is about to close. Anyways, I will post more later when I can. We have lots of great photos of wildlife and more scenery and even some of us farming.

I will leave you with a couple more photos:

More ocean and tidal pools (good for swimming)

Wow!!! That looks like such a beautiful place. Josh you take great pictures. Just how large is a large 200 hectare property? Is it like a ranch out in Montana that has miles of land?

Wow!! is right! I doubt you’ll ever leave!

Great pictures! The scenery is beautiful. I like the ripples in the tidal pool.

Wow, I think the photo of Beth and Dennis on the sandy cliff is one of the best ones of the whole trip. The colors, contours, textures, contrasts (like in teh textures) composition, clarity, and more. Just gorgeous. (Good thing I had a “t” word and a “g” word in there to break up all the “c” words, don’t you think?!Hehe. ;-) ) I’m looking foreward to the ones of you farming. I’m not joking; I really am. Send lots! XOXOX

“Foreward”? Oops. ;-) You know, it’s a golfing term! ;-)

Well I’m sure glad you guys liked the photos. One hectare is 10000 square meters (100m x 100m for example), which is about 2.5 acres.
