I don’t really know if anything about this is actually ‘Aussie style’ besides the BBQ in general. Having a ‘barbie’ is one of Australia’s great traditions. We bought a little gas grill last weekend and have been enjoying partaking in the tradition. Oh, and the beer in the picture is an Aussie beer for sure. Not one of the really bad ones that they drink by the crate, but a nice micro brew from the Grand Ridge Brewery we visited last weekend.
As I write this it’s raining sideways outside, and I’m feeling chilly in a sweater. But I was laying out topless on the beach last week, I swear. That’s Melbourne weather for you.
BBQ-ing doesn’t seem that much different than in the States. What is the meat? I hope it’s something tame.
Summer is approaching in Melbourne. Winter is just around the corner here. We’ve had chilly rain for a couple of days. In fact, central Nebraska had some snow, too.
