We camped a few feet behind this photo a while back. It is at Wilson’s Prom.

Woah, cool texture! I that just the way the sand shaped from the retreating tide?

can you drive on the beach? those look kind of like wheel tracks, or are they just from the waves?

that’s just from the tide darling :)

Hey, Josh, I’ve wondered for awhile: Why does the home page sometimes state a higher number of “recent comments” for a given post than there are actual comments I can see? E.g., the home page currently says (in the “recent comments” list) there are five comments re: Norman Bay; whereas, I really only see three. Maybe I asked you this question two years ago and have forgotten the answer . . . or that I even asked! Yep, that’s how it goes for the aged! ;-) Thanks! XOXOX

Thanks for that Mom. Sometimes if someone leaves a comment and they haven’t left one before it goes into moderation and doesn’t show on the site until I approve it. I don’t always realize this happens, so the total number of comments is higher than the number you see until I approve them!

Ahhhh, yes, that makes sense . . . and sounds familiar–I think I *did* ask you that a long time ago. So . . . does that mean “Gunder” has never posted before?!?!? How can that be? Or maybe he has a new address he’s using to comment. Btw, I just saw Gunder today. Fun! :-) XOXOX

And I agree with Gunder–amazing texture in that sand! It *is* sand, isn’t it?

Lots of sun and sand and rhythmic waves would be nice about now!
