Here is a photo Beth took on a walk of ours a while back. This is from the same beach that the last photo I posted was from. When you looked down there was nothing but shells underfoot. Here’s a closeup:

I have almost recovered from being sick last week. It was bad. I was completely out of it for four or five days, and pretty week for another couple. I took three days off work which is really rare for me… not that I love work or anything, I just normally don’t get very sick. Beth got sick too which made it even worse. Anyways, I’m finally starting to feel almost back to normal, so that is good. Especially cause I have lots of work to do. It’s a busy time of year for me, juggling my full time job and then some NFL football related contract work. I will be glad when the weekend makes it’s glorious return come Friday.

Beth started a new job today. She is taking care of lab rats! Sounds cool. I wish I could get a photo of that.

The shells are lovely. What a collection! And this was just a small spot on the shore. And what’s even nicer is that they’re untouched. People haven’t gobbled them up yet. I like the different shapes, textures and colors. I didn’t know what “foreshore” was so had to look it up in my dictionary.

I’m glad you’re both feeling better. I’m happy for Beth and her new job.

Wow, that close-up is amazing! All those shells! In all their different colors, textures, shapes, and sizes. Just amazing. Especially because on any beach I’ve ever been on, you would feel really lucky to find even just a handfull (if that) of them. And there they are not far from home for you–thousands, millions of them! Just amazing. And some of them are just so distinctive and unique. Wow. Way to go, Beth! And great reporting, Josh!

Also, I’m so happy for you being almost back to totally not sick anymore, Josh! Yay, yay, yay, yay, YAY!!!

And YAY! to you, Beth, for your new job! Of course, you’ll both be missing all that cake! (Seriously. :-) ) Hopefully the lab rats will keep you just as happy and then some! :-)

XOXOX

Oh lucky for me Beth is still working at the bakery Monday and Friday. The gig was too good to give up :) .

Good to hear from you Robin.

How nice that Beth is still working at the bakery as well as with the rats. She’ll still bring home tasty treats.

I think it’s great that Beth can still bring you baked goods, but I must know…can she bring home lab rats as well? I think that would be way cooler. You can only have so much cupcakes, but lab rats are the gifts that keep on giving. ;)

No unfortunately Beth can’t bring rats home. I have asked though.

She did bring home some things yesterday called coffee fingers. They are kindof like cinnamon rolls and very good. Right now she is heating me up one and making me a coffee from the expresso machine. woohoo!

Bakery goods and lab rats does (do?) not seem like a tasty combination, Beth…

Bakery Goods and Lab Rats. Sounds like the title of the book that you two (Beth and Josh) will write someday.
