Here is a photo I took with a long exposure (30sec) the other night when we were in town for dinner. This is on the bridge next to Flinders Street Station, the station we exit our train in the city.

I generally don’t post pictures of myself, or people in general for that matter. I prefer outsiders only know me as the guy on the About Your Guide page. However, because my mother has now asked for a photo 5 times, I felt I should post a photo from Rob’s wedding in May. I look so respectable next to Rob ;)

THANK YOU!!! :-) LOVE IT!!! :-) You (and your suit!) look awesome, Josh! And Rob looks pretty sharp, too. :-) XOXOX

Both photos are great. I love the reflection of the Melbourne lights reflected in the river. And you look really sharp! As my friends might say, “You clean up real good.”

Ok, so here’s another aunt saying you look terrific, but I’ll add that you always look great whenever I get to see you! As Grandpa Deane has on occasion said in a complimentary fashion, “What a well-scrubbed young man!

The Yarra river photo is beautiful.

Josh: Don’t be too alarmed but my ultra-conservative internet filter blocked half your web page. Something about “R rated”. (Seriously!) It must have taken one look at you and Rob and said “These guys are too cute for general viewing”. Anyway,it was good to see you guys looking so sharp. Miss you! DC

Nice pic!

haha that’s funny. My spam filter blocked your comment (had to manually approve) so I guess we’re even :) .

Everyone seems to post quickly after I post a new story/photo. Is everyone seeing updates through RSS? Or are you just checking here constantly? If the latter, sorry my posting has gotten to be more weekly than daily. So much going on in my day to day life now that I have a normal job :) .

I agree! Both pictures are great! Thanks! Grandpa will be proud of your photo skills. Melbourne looks pretty nice. What was your dinner like? Anything special. If you have other wedding pics would you email them? Don’t need to post them.

There was an article about a fisher (really mean weasel/wolverine like animal) in the paper today. Seems like we read about them together when you were a kid once. I’m reading about caterpillars tonight. Any butterflies or moths visit your windows that you could send a picture of?

I confess, I sent the link of this page to some people. You’re so handsome–just couldn’t resist. XOXOX

Actually, I check your web site every day. I was at work when I first saw today’s post, but I didn’t comment until I got home.

I check almost every day. Just look forward to the next great photo. Pure enjoyment for me. The bridge photo is so beautiful. Wish we were there. Oh and “you look marvelous”. Love the Lake Eildon phot too. later…

Hey Dad. For dinner we ate in the Greek Precinct (reminding me of home). It was REALLY good. Don’t remember reading about Fishers. We probably did though.

I haven’t seen any butterflies that I can remember here. I will be on the lookout. I also got your email about ideas for posting photos of wildlife, native bush etc. The main problem is right now it gets dark around 5pm. And I am generally at work until about 6, so I don’t get much chance to get outside and see things. However, I do have one photo for you of Melbourne wildlife from the other day. Enjoy:

Great! Thanks for the wildlife photo! I forgot how early it gets dark. Moths come out at night, though. But maybe it’s too cold with the deep snow and all. Randy told me they’ve had about one day of summer in MN – the rest cool and rainy.

Hello Josh,

You look marvelous! Hopefully, you know that is a Billy Crystal quote, but you do look very nice. Take good care of yourself. Frank
