Not a lot going on this week as everyone is hard at work slaving to the man. I thought I would post a picture of me in my natural environment, behind an LCD well on my way to carpal tunnel.
I have been doing work for a couple of clients today, drinking coffee, and cleaning house with some Trojan Dub playing on the stereo.
Hey, looks like fun. How do you like your camera? Is it smooth or choppy? I’ve toyed with the idea of getting one… What direction does your window face that’s behind you? North? And I’m presuming your apt was furnished – or did you have to buy some furniture when you moved in.
Ask Beth to write some stuff about what she does in the vineyard and what she likes there and what she’s learning. I’d be interested to hear.
Why are their more women than men in kiwiland? Immigration?
Can a non-customer look at the sports website you work on? If so, what’s the address?
I’m listening to Dylan loud. Not Trojan dub, though i’ve got that on my computer. I really enjoy the speakers you left here with me. Lots of times I just plug them into my cd player so as to reduce the load on the computer (if I use itunes).
The webcam is pretty cool. When I have used it here it has been a bit choppy, mainly the audio but that is probably just because of the distance and my slow upload rate. The window faces East. And our apartment was furnished – that was a criteria when we were searching.
The two fantasy football sites are: 4for4.com and fftoc.com, although I’m not sure how much info you can see w/out being a paying subscriber.
I believe the reason for the man shortage is that after spending their whole lives in a small country like NZ, many of the men here want to move somewhere else after college. I guess the women tend to stay while the men go.

Hello Josh,
I am learning something about the computer while I’m at Louise’s and Bill’s house. Amazing!
I can see that you are busy behind the computer. Improving your mind! (chuckle, chuckle!)
I’ll see you back in the western hemisphere sometime.

LOVE seeing the photo of you in, as you say, your natural environment! Thanks for including it! Did you take it of yourself? It’s just so weird . . . and wonderful . . . to see a picture of you, so far away, in such near-real time. And how cool that Louise (I’m guessing) connected Grandpa Deane and you and that he got an eensy feel for blog technology and for your experience there. Louise, if you’re listening, THANK YOU!

More snow and slippery streets this morning.

Yes, my camera has an infrared remote so I can take pictures of myself.
