My first ever winter birthday was a great one. We spent the day up Coronet Peak snowboarding with some mates, and then Jon arrived just in time to watch the All Blacks beat Australia to win the Tri Nations (Rugby). We went for a juicy steak dinner, and spent the night hanging out with friends.

Great to see a birthday pic!!! It’s all you!

Glad you had fun and Jon made it there. Sounded like birthday dinner was great. We’re in Rolfe as Ragbrai is going through. Later!

HI Josh!!! So fun to see a picture of you in your winter gear on a wintery slope! AND on your birthday! So glad it was a great day and that Jon could celebrate it with you, too! For lack of time, I’ll copy and paste here part of what I just wrote on Jon’s blog. Love! Mum Here’s what I wrote:

FINALLY!!!!! I’m FINALLY on the internet!!! Actually, I’m on Aunt Louise’s laptop at Perkins at the Lakes. I’ve been wanting to check your site every single day–every single hour! But it just didn’t work out. [Your] photos with the frost and then the snow are so . . . so . . . so NOT what we’re experiencing here! (The RAGBRAI riders are experiencing good ol’ high Iowa temps and humidity!) Better sign off for now, as I don’t know how long before AL needs to go. (She’s not here right now; she left for a bit with a friend and left me with the laptop. Yay! :-) ) If I don’t comment again for awhile, it’s not for lack of interest!!!!! :-) Stay warm! XOXOXOX
