For anyone out there looking for a good map for following Josh’s travels, here’s one I came across when googling: http://www.malaysia-maps.com/kl/.

Josh, it’s fascinating to follow you on a map. I should’ve looked more closely at a map after you left Singapore. It helps me get more your “meander” “plan.” It’s great how, on the map, I can zoom way in on something like the crazy street system of Kuala Lumpur or the road you must’ve taken to get over to Penang . . . or I can zoom out to get the feel for where you are in relation to all of Malaysia and beyond. (I know, I know: Zoom features have been around a long time. ;-) ) Fun! XOXOX

Another awesome photo, Josh! You’ve really got down the close-up/far-away contrasts of textures, color, and more. I love the giant, heavy, rough, craggy boulders in the foreground; the soft color variations and lines of the sand in the midground; and the even softer blues and greens in the background. Nice! Thanks for posting! XOXOX

I’m still here…following your every move and loving every minute of it. I don’t want to make your folks sad but I am going to be so sorry when you come back to the U.S. I am sooo enjoying your world travels and your beautiful photos. Will you maintain this website or will we lose all these great pictures? Say it isn’t so!!!

Aw, Jules! You’re not makin’ me sad! (Thanks for caring, though!) We **love** it when he’s here and **miss** him when he’s gone but are also really **excited** about all the opportunities he’s seizing! (Siezing? ;-) ) And I **love** what you said: “following your every move and loving every minute of it.” Who doesn’t love someone appreciatiing their kids?!?!!! XOXOX

Hi, I’m a bit late to the party here. We are on a small island and the internet was out for 2 days because someone shot fireworks into the internet satellite providing service to the island. I believe it was an accident.

This was a small beach at the top of Penang.

Julie, the site will stay up once I am home. I anticipate a lot less posting, but probably some photos from U-S-A from time to time.
