It started raining! In Singapore and Malaysia especially it was really humid. It felt a bit like North Carolina summer where the humidity just builds and builds. Then in the evening it rains.

This photos is from an overpass walkway over a small street in KL. There are motorbikes and cars everywhere. The road has “lanes” but they don’t mean anything. Everyone fills up whatever space they can find, and motorbikes weave in and out of cars.

Are a lot/most of the streets one-way there, or did that just happen to be what you snapped? Seems like a lack of lanes on a two-way could be trouble.

I agree with GunderJon. This traffic on a two-way street would be a problem. Actually, it looks sort of like New York City but with not quite so many cars.

Awesome photo–all the color, the wet pavement, the city feel, taken from above, the lights in the dark, etc. Very cool that your camera has the capability of taking that photo in the dark.

Interesting about the humidity building and building till it rains . . . and feeling sort of like NC that way.

I noticed the CRAZY traffic before I read your text. Again, CRAZY!!!

What’s this city like? I know nothing about it except the name.

Some of the streets were two way. It was then just sort of chaos on either side of the road, and people were very liberal going into the other lane to pass. haha.

The city was really big… I don’t really know how to describe the city. Fairly clean. Big china town. Lots of big buildings, then you’d see some run down buildings. Lots of areas with food stalls and markets and things. Overall pretty enjoyable but we weren’t there long. Mainly just to catch a bus somewhere else.
