Love the line-up and color-variety of umbrellas. They’re even nicely perpendicular to the sand and parallel to each other! (I know, I know: I need to loosen up! ) Now, if you could just photo-shop those people out . . . . (Just more evidence of my need. ) Thanks so much for sending! Did it get sunny enough for the umbrellas to come out?
Speaking of sun . . . or lack thereof . . . it’s raining here. And overcast and chilly. We’ve got the fireplace going. I keep hoping all this rain started first in Iowa and is making for great crops there! Love, Mum
We stopped on Cat Ba Island, the only inhabited island in Halong Bay, for the second night of our Halong Bay cruise. Beth and I rented a little motorbike and went to check out the beaches. There were three small beaches like this one, but no the weather wasn’t too nice. Mostly overcast. But I did manage a quick swim.
