This is just the view of a quiet street at night from where we ate dinner on a 2nd floor restaurant. Quiet and street don’t normally go together in Vietnam. Most streets are filled with hundreds of motorbikes and a few cars, all going wherever they please. This was the last day Beth and I spent together before I left for Saigon via plane and she continued her trip south by land.
Interesting. Especially the “quiet at night” part. Definitely that feel about the photo.
So . . . that’s a whole tangle of power lines? Within arm’s reach? But outside a window, I imagine. Is that the Vietnam flag?
Was this just where you happened to end up eating that night, or were you making it extra special since it was your last night there and last night with Beth for awhile?
Kudos to Beth for continuing on! I wonder what she’s seeing and experiencing . . . .

Yeah lots of power lines all over the place. We just wandered around and found that place. It was nice.
