Wow, that *is* a lot of rain! Love the visual! Thanks for posting it! Sort of like a stay-inside *really* rainy day at Gunderlakke . . . kinda sorta . . . plus all things Thai! I’m thinkin’ maybe Dad and I should move to somewhere with monsoon weather! I’d love it; Dad would *not.*
The rain in Thailand (or all over SE Asia so it seems) comes quickly and in large amounts. It can be a nice day with clear skies one minute, and the next it’s pouring what seems like a foot of rain in 10 minutes.
On this fine day, Beth and I had set out to relax at a nice small beach for a couple of hours on a motorbike we had rented. After a little while there, the sky opened up producing what you see above. We tried to wait it out, but still ended up riding home in a bit of rain. The roads were treacherous and we were very muddy when we got home.
